Who is Dexter?

The irony of naming the amps after Dexter is that he doesn’t really like music. But he’s small and mighty like our Dexter amps. Dexter came to us one Friday night in December 2013. My wife and I had stopped by the West LA animal shelter to say hi to the dogs. But someone stood out. He was frightened, wearing an unflattering sweater, and locked eyes with me as soon as we met. For some reason, I knew this would be important.

Cut to ten years later and Dexter is still running our home. While he may only be a 14 lb. Poodle/Chihuahua mix, his presence is immense in our lives, and he is an invaluable asset to our organization. So, basically, I named the company after my best friend.
